Alumni Founders is seeking a firmware engineer to develop and maintain reliable flight software for spacecraft and related systems, ensuring safe and autonomous orbital control.

You will own the full software development lifecycle, from capturing requirements through design, testing, integration, and flight operational support, in a challenging space environment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to rigorous safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of experience developing spacecraft or safety-critical embedded software.
• Proficiency in C++ and experience with real-time embedded hardware/software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reliable firmware for spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules to control orbital behavior.
• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements capture and design to testing, integration, and flight operational support.
