Clutch Canada is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Los Angeles to support the development, integration, and deployment of flight software systems. The role emphasizes designing and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, utilizing AWS infrastructure via Terraform, and integrating automated testing solutions. Candidates should have strong experience with CI/CD systems, containerization technologies, and scripting. The position offers a competitive salary range of $177,000 - $205,000, along with extensive benefits including 100% employer-paid health care and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with CI/CD systems, particularly GitLab pipelines.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience supporting automated testing frameworks (PyTest, GoogleTest, etc.), ideally including SIL/HIL systems.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development and deployment environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage containerized environments using Docker.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
• Build and maintain automated pipelines for SIL and HIL testing.
• Support Flight Test operations with reliable deployment workflows.
• Integrate hardware test benches with CI/CD systems for regression testing.
• Optimize build systems for performance and traceability.
• Collaborate with flight software and avionics engineers.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for test environments.
