Job summary

CAE is seeking a Flight Simulator Technician II in Orlando, FL, to maintain, troubleshoot, and support high-fidelity flight simulators. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, pre/post-flight checks, and supporting refurbishments.

The role requires an associate degree or technical training and at least 3 years of simulator experience, including 1 year on relevant platforms. Strong diagnostic skills and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training required.
• Minimum of 3 years direct simulator experience.
• At least 1 year on simulators relevant to the assigned location.
• Ability to troubleshoot to system level on multiple simulator platforms.
• Proficient with standard test equipment and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on simulators and associated systems.
• Diagnose and correct routine and intermediate-level issues on simulators and supporting systems.
• Assist with advanced troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed.
• Perform daily pre-flight and post-flight checks on assigned simulators.
• Train and mentor technicians in basic technical skills and standard procedures.
• Document maintenance activities in the maintenance management system.
• Support simulator refurbishments and hardware modifications.
• Provide timely customer service support and respond to customer needs.
