Job summary

SMX seeks an experienced CLS Specialist to serve as the onsite technical authority for the FLRAA MV-75 simulation environment in Huntsville. You will ensure readiness of simulation enclaves, host computers, and facility power/HVAC while supporting training events and VIP visits.

The role requires a Secret clearance, hands-on flight simulators experience, and ability to coordinate with OEM upgrades, maintenance teams, and program offices. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience, or 15 years with no degree; aviation military training valued.
5+ years of direct experience in flight simulation maintenance, HWIL systems, or tactical systems support.
Hands-on experience configuring flight simulators, operating an IOS, and performing maintenance/load testing on military diesel tactical generators.

Responsibilities

Operate and calibrate flight simulators and IOS during training events.
Troubleshoot hardware and software to LRU level; coordinate repairs with engineering.
Assist upgrade transitions and verify OEM upgrade concurrency with aircraft configurations.
Perform PMCS and load testing on the 10K diesel generator.
Conduct inventories of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and report maintenance/discrepancies.
Host dignitaries and conduct site tours of the FLRAA MV-75 prototype.
