Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Guidance, Navigation, and Control engineer to develop and validate control laws, integrate hardware/software in- the-loop tests, and advance navigation for a fleet of autonomous drones. You will work with aero design, flight simulation, and testing teams to deliver robust performance across VTOL platforms.

The role requires 4+ years in aerodynamic design/analysis, CFD tools experience, and strong MATLAB/C++ skills, with US person status for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of professional experience with airborne platforms.
• 4+ years in aerodynamic design/analysis, flight simulation, and flight testing.
• Hands-on CFD tools, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent.
• 4+ years programming and data analysis (MATLAB, C++).
• Strong aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and controls understanding.
• US person status required for export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze aerodynamic performance for fixed-, rotary-, and hybrid VTOL platforms.
• Develop and maintain high-fidelity flight simulation models.
• Plan and execute tests with Flight Test to evaluate aircraft performance.
• Coordinate wind tunnel testing and analyze results.
• Identify system bugs from flight data and prepare technical reports.
