Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Senior Registered Respiratory Therapist for a Flight RT role. You will perform advanced pediatric and neonatal respiratory care, participate in transport with the flight team, and ensure stable patients are safely transferred to receiving facilities.

Requirements include a Respiratory Care degree from an accredited program, NBRC RRT, current licensure, BLS, and site credentials (NRP/ACLS/PALS) within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Care degree from an accredited program and NBRC RRT credentials.
• Proficiency maintaining weight 240 pounds or less in uniform.
• Current state licensure and multi-state privileges; BLS required; site credentials (NRP/ACLS/PALS) within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced care for pediatric and neonatal patients during transport.
• Participate in neonatal and pediatric transport with Flight Nurses, Paramedics, and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
• Assess, stabilize, and manage patients ensuring safe transfer to receiving facility.
• Adhere to program policies and maintain safety and quality standards.
