The role oversees planning, budgeting, scheduling, and performance across a multidisciplinary portfolio, ensuring alignment with national aeronautics priorities.

You will coordinate with centers, industry, and academia, while preparing materials for Congress and OMB, and leading the program office's organizational design and staffing.

Qualifications

• Proven executive leadership experience at senior level within a large program.
• Evidence of managing complex, multi-stakeholder efforts.
• Experience reporting ECQs and MTQs in a resume as required.

Responsibilities

• Develops overall program strategies and requirements aligned with agency goals.
• Assesses and allocates technical, budget and schedule needs across teams.
• Ensures preparation of program plans, budgets, and key documents.
• Maintains oversight of performance, content, schedules, and resources.
• Assesses risks throughout program life cycles and mitigates them.
• Supports briefings to Congress, OMB, and other stakeholders.
• Cultivates partnerships with industry, universities, and other agencies.
• Interprets and implements program policy guidance.
• Anticipates new requirements to align with priorities.
