Formación

• 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with prototyping and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop test infrastructure for satellite flight hardware, producing clear design schematics, specifications, trade studies, and test plans that validate mechanical systems against functional, reliability, and cost targets.
• Build and validate prototypes of test fixtures and equipment, selecting appropriate manufacturing processes and making informed make-versus-buy decisions to meet program schedules.
• Perform system-level analysis including thermal, dynamic, and electrical evaluations to confirm test setups accurately represent flight conditions and meet regulatory and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams during design reviews, planning discussions, and retrospectives to resolve integration challenges, improve test coverage, and share technical knowledge.
• Develop scripts, firmware, or software tools that automate test workflows, and help train teammates on test system implementation and operation.
