Job summary

Abby’s Catering in Houston is seeking a Cold Food Associate to prepare, assemble, and portion cold items per recipes and airline specs, in a 24/7 operation. You will follow HACCP guidelines, maintain logs, and ensure high quality, safety, and accuracy in every step.

You will work in a cold 36°F environment, support production with Supervisors, and help meet flight departure times. A high school diploma and Food Handler Certificate are preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and assemble cold food items according to recipes, specs, and diagrams.
• Follow loading instructions, menu cards, and portion guides.
• Label, date, and rotate inventory using FIFO methods.
• Maintain accuracy to minimize waste and ensure 100% order completion.
• Work with Supervisors to meet kitchen departure times for flights.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized cold-food production area.
• Promote teamwork and a respectful, positive work environment.
