Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a highly skilled paramedic to deliver pre-hospital advanced life support and triage for emergency patients. You will operate per CBS Medical Director guidelines, document care, and maintain readiness of aircraft and equipment for rapid response.

The role requires active EMS licensure and ongoing education to uphold high standards in patient safety. This position emphasizes collaboration with medical bases, ongoing professional development, and participation in outreach activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy 911 system
• Paramedic license as defined by state scope of practice
• Specialty certification FP-C or CCP-C within 2 years of hire
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR; ACLS; PALS or equivalent
• NRP certification prior to third-rider orientation
• NIMS training IS-100/200/700/800 and HazMat on hire

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment per CBS Medical Director standards
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation from initial contact to facility handoff
• Demonstrate competency in psychomotor skills and ongoing clinical training
• Attend and report educational needs to Medical Base Supervisor and Medical Education Coordinator
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and safety training records
• Keep aircraft and equipment well-maintained and ready for rapid response
• Participate in outreach, education, and follow-up with referring institutions
• Support mission briefings/debriefings and pre-mission liftoff and post-flight reporting
• Ensure safety standards for self, crew, patient, and equipment
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model; participate in departmental projects and research
