Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. is seeking a Flight Paramedic to safely transport patients by air while delivering advanced life support from initial contact through transfer.

You will maintain safety standards and operate emergency equipment, supporting aircraft and crew during missions. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in 911 or critical care settings, current EMT-P licensure, and multi-credential certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in 911 or critical care settings.
• Current EMT-P license in the service area.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma; advanced FP-C certification preferred and must be obtained within 24 months.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required depending on the area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly for each flight.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
• Deliver pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact to patient transfer.
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and education.
• Ensure proper documentation of licensure, certifications, and continuing education.
• Operate and maintain emergency equipment and supplies.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Participate in pre-mission briefings, debriefings, and assist with aircraft safety and pilot support as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards to ensure crew, patient, and equipment safety before liftoff.
• Fill open shifts as assigned.
