Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam offers a Flight Paramedic opportunity in Anadarko, OK, delivering pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care during air transport. You will join a professional team focused on safety and high-quality patient care.

Minimum 3 years in 911/critical care, EMT-P certification in respective states, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma). FP-C within 24 months, NREMT-P may be required in some areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact until transfer of care.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Keep documentation of licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in the Education Manual.
• Knowledge of equipment use and routine maintenance for emergency program supplies.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in pre- and post-mission briefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and Pilot assistance as needed (radio, navigation, observation).
• Comply with safety standards to ensure crew, patients, and equipment safety before liftoff.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as required.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed by the Regional Director.

Flight Paramedic Opportunity in ANADARKO, OK Starting pay at $21.34 hourly + DOE $4.16 Hourly Area Stipend Modification.

We’re hiring a

Flight Paramedic

to work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you’ll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completion and submission of electronic patient care record for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Responsible for daily base checks, which includes narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility maintaining thorough patient care documentation.
• Maintains competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills by participating in ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Maintain documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual
• Knowledgeable in use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public.
• Functions as a medical flight member.
• Attends pre-mission briefings and mission debriefing and completes necessary documentation.
• Assists in pre-mission liftoff checklist and Pilot assistance when needed, i.e. radio, navigational, and visual observation activities
• Complies with safety standards to assure safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment prior to liftoff.
• Conducts aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Responsible for filling open or vacant shifts within assigned area as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director
