Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and three or more years’ experience in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Must have a general knowledge and competence in costing concepts, principles, and standard practices.
• Experience negotiating and working in a contracting environment and ability to analyze and solve moderately complex costing problems.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; proficient with spreadsheet applications.

Responsibilities

• Computes cost factors and prepares Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for management use (planning, bidding, cost effectiveness).
• Compiles and analyzes data to calculate Flight Operations costs.
• Develops and maintains electronic cost estimating databases and systems.
