Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for critical care transport to assess, triage, and treat critically ill or injured patients requiring transport to higher care facilities. You will follow medical director guidelines and ensure safety throughout the transfer process.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, Georgia RN licensure, and 3+ years in critical care or ED settings, with preference for pre-hospital and flight transport experience and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Georgia RN licensure is required.
• Advanced trauma certification and pediatric/neonatal transport certifications preferred.
• BLS/CPR; ACLS; PALS or TNCC/TNAT certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during transport, including assessment and triage.
• Follow Grady Health System standards and guidelines established by Medical Directors.
• Prioritize care and ensure safe transport to appropriate facility.
• Maintain highest safety standards throughout transport.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients, families, and team members.
