Job summary

PHI Health in Mesa, AZ seeks an experienced Flight Nurse to provide advanced care during pre-hospital and inter-facility transports. You will operate under medical protocols, ensuring safe patient handoffs and rapid response in emergency missions.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state, 3+ years of critical care experience, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS, TNATC/TNCC/ITLS or PHTLS). Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 accompanies this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in the employed state.
• Minimum three years (five preferred) of critical care/emergency experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNATC/TNCC/ITLS or PHTLS; NRP preferred.
• CFRN within 24 months of hire; instructor certifications preferred.
• Flight/transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill/injured patients in flight and inter-facility transports.
• Document assessment, treatment plans and changes during stabilization and transport.
• Document billing information for patient transports.
• Maintain effective communication with management, internal and external customers.
• Participate in PR and marketing activities as needed.
• Maintain knowledge via meetings, chart reviews, labs, rotations, and continuing education.
• Complete annual recurrent competency requirements.
• Maintain active RN license and required certifications; follow Medical Director protocols.
