Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Mineral Wells, TX is seeking a Flight Nurse to join our team of air transportation experts. You will transport patients to and from facilities and participate in scene call work, upholding high safety standards and professional teamwork.

The role requires RN licensure, emergency/critical care experience, and multiple certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; CFRN within 24 months). Prior flight experience is preferred. Training is provided to achieve CFRN within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care experience as an RN.
• RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification as required by state(s).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP provided during training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for critical care patients.
• Manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients per physician orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment and ensure equipment readiness.
• Communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training; ensure accurate documentation.
