Job summary

Med-Trans in Milton, FL is seeking a Flight Nurse to join our air transport team. You will safely move patients to and from medical facilities and respond to scene calls while maintaining a safe, well-stocked aircraft environment.

The ideal candidate has emergency/critical care nursing experience with an active RN license in the served states. Training includes BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP and CFRN certification within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care nursing
• RN license valid in states served
• EMT certification and Trauma certification where required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required before flight status (NRP provided during training)
• CFRN required within 24 months from hire date

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine best course of action for patient care in critical situations
• Manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients with physician orders
• Maintain aircraft environment, equipment, and base checks
• Communicate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews and facilities
• Keep records and documentation up to date and compliant
