Responsibilities

• Performs Crew Chief duties with full maintenance responsibility for the assigned aircraft.
• Diagnoses problems with aircraft systems and components; performs required repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinates with Allied Shops for specialized work (sheet metal, avionics, propeller-rotor, engine).
• Supervises one or more subordinate aircraft mechanics; may accompany pilots during flights to locate discrepancies.
• Performs pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight duties and conducts ground testing of aircraft systems.
