Job summary

GeoControl Systems, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. You will lead test engineering activities supporting product development and certification for human health related systems across space exploration missions.

Required: a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science and at least 5 years of related experience, plus experience with JSC projects, labs, and pressurized systems. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science and at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with JSC projects and test facilities.
• Experience with testing in a Lab.
• Experience with pressure systems.
• At least 2 years in flight hardware development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety records and certifications.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, setups and procedures from project requirements.
• Coordinate with service providers and scheduling test facilities.
• Collaborate with project management, customers and stakeholders on test schedules.
• Complete functional, development, certification and integration testing of hardware.
