Job summary

Pearl River Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Engineer in Greenbelt, MD (Hybrid) to support NASA’s Flight Dynamics Facility with flight dynamics, mission operations, and analytics. You will contribute to orbit determination, mission planning, and data-driven problem solving across multiple launch vehicles and spacecraft.

The role requires strong scripting in Python/MATLAB, experience with STK, and the ability to lead or support projects in a fast-paced environment; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in flight dynamics or related field.
• Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide flight dynamics and satellite operations support for NASA FDF missions.
• Real-time mission operations planning and anomaly investigation.
• Orbit determination support for ISS and visiting spacecraft.
• Oversee flight dynamics analyses and data handling activities.
• Develop simulations and support software lifecycle tasks.
