Qualified candidates will be responsible delivering the highest level of guest service to all guests. This candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment. SkyWheel Myrtle Beach is open 7 days a week. Position requires weekend and holiday availability.SkyWheel Myrtle Beach is passionate about having a team that strongly aligns with our Core Values.Safety- Take care of yourself, your surroundings, and our guests.Integrity- Always do the right thing.Teamwork- We work together to ensure successful operation.Hospitality- Engaging with all guests with a positive manner.Duties and responsibilitiesIncludes, but not limited to:Provide the highest level of customer service while greeting guests as they enter and exit the attraction.Engage and entertain guests as they experience the attraction.Take an active role in assisting customers and answering any questions.Ensure proper behavior and attitude of guests and ask for assistance from a supervisor, manager, or security when needed.Understand and be knowledgeable to work all functions of the attraction, including ticket sales, ride operations, and photo attendant.Remain alert at all times, ensuring a safe loading platform and providing a safe environment.Ensure no unauthorized personnel enter the platform area while the wheel is in operation.Provide safety instructions and answer any questions while loading the passengers into the gondolas.Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and practices.Assist in the performance of the wheel safety inspection checks.Ensure a smoke-free facility.Attend all scheduled training.Assist in preopening and closing procedures.Oversee and manage crowd control and an efficient workflow.Maintain a clean and professional work area.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications include but are not limited to:Must have a great outgoing personalityMust be energetic, courteous, professional and have the ability to speak to peopleMust be willing to work a flexible schedule and work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work professionally and coordinate with all members of the SkyWheel team, vendors, on site venue partners and guestsMust be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a variety of conditions including heat, cold and rainMust be able to operate the gondola lever from a standing position on the platform load side without excessive reach or overextension.Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without supervisionMust be willing to work nights, weekends and holidaysAcceptable pre-employment drug screen and background checkExperience in the amusement/theme park or high-volume tourist-based entertainment venue is beneficial.Experience in other areas of hospitality or the service industry.
