Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking a Flight Controls Verification Engineer II to join the GAC Savannah team. You will verify hardware and software components of the Flight Control System, perform integrated lab testing and contribute to certification efforts. Bachelor's in engineering with 18 months related experience required.
Travel up to 25% and full-time on-site role. You will develop verification tools, troubleshoot in-service issues, and interact with suppliers
The Flight Controls team is responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of the Gulfstream Flight Control Systems across all large cabin programs. These systems are complex in nature and are designed by a highly cross-functional team of exceptional engineers in the areas of complex electronics, software, electrical and hydraulic actuation. We are seeking candidates with broad skillsets and various levels of experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individualstoworkright hereat our Savannah facility.
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. 18 months related Engineering experience. Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years for Master's and 4 years for PhD in field applicable to the job position. Position Purpose:Performs engineering work related to the investigation and the solution of technical problems associated with research, design, development, service and manufacture of Gulfstream aircraft.
