Job summary

FlexSteel is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead all warehouse and distribution activities at our Baytown facility, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Production, Logistics, and Customer Service to optimize material flow and warehouse performance. A Bachelor's in Supply Chain or equivalent and 10–15 years of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.
• 10–15 years of experience in supply chain roles at a manufacturer.
• Experience in warehouse slotting and pick/pack/ship operations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Understanding of supply chain principles and logistics.
• Leadership skills to manage a team of warehouse personnel.
• Design and implementation of organization structure for a manufacturing plant preferred.
• This position may require background checks and safety certifications.

SUMMARY

• The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse and distribution activities to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This role drives inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, on-time delivery performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
• The Warehouse Operations Manager partners closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless material flow and optimal warehouse performance.
