Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Arlington Heights, IL is hiring a Flexographic Press Operator for the 1st shift. The role involves setting up and running a narrow web press up to 12 colors and monitoring quality throughout the run.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1–5 years of flexographic printing experience, with good communication and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Shifts are Monday–Thursday 7am–3:30pm and Friday 6am–2:30pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand with occasional walking and lift up to 60 pounds.

• Adjust and maintain all press components, for example, web tension, splice detector, web guide, press counter, slitting blades, etc.
• Set up and operate press accessories such as a fan-folder, sheeting conveyor or an automatic turret rewinder.
• Clean, inspect, and lubricate moving parts as needed.

• Ability to read and understand work instructions, job specifications and label artwork proof is required.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral, as well as basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand with occasional walking and lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Hourly pay range for this role is $21.00 to $28.00.
