Job summary

MCC is seeking a Flexo Press Operator to join our labeling production team. You will be responsible for manufacturing printed labels and monitoring press conditions and quality.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, performing make-readies, and executing quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met. The role requires standing, manual handling up to 50 pounds, and a focus on clean, efficient production practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of printing press operator experience or training.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and area through daily housekeeping.
• Complete press make-ready per Job Ticket and Product Specifications to ensure correct cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
• Perform press-side quality checks and product specifications verifications.
• Operate press to meet customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Maintain consistent quality during the production run with critical checks on copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.
• Complete required procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements per BRC standard.
• Complete press makereadies efficiently and perform equipment maintenance duties.
• Clean plates, cylinders, ink pans, and lubricate press; input data into GlobeTek system for material usage and timing.
