Job summary

ShiftMed is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to support facilities on a per diem, short-term, long-term, or permanent basis. You’ll work with hospitals, clinics, and other settings, providing diagnostic imaging services while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will be part of a system that offers competitive hourly pay, W-2 employment, health benefits, guaranteed income on certain shifts, and daily payout options through ShiftMed programs.

Qualifications

• Active Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) license.
• CPR certification (BLS) and COVID-19 vaccination.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds and stand long hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality radiographs.
• Follow radiologic safety and infection control standards.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Assist with patient transport and mobility as needed.
• Promote a positive work environment and attitude.
