Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Health Fitness Professional in Vienna, VA. This flexible, part-time role involves engaging with members, performing health/wellness assessments, and delivering personalized fitness experiences in a corporate wellness setting.

You’ll help participants achieve health goals, design individualized programs, and support wellness initiatives while thriving in a friendly, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2+ years' fitness experience.
• NCCA Accredited Personal Trainer certification within 60 days.
• OSHA compliant First Aid/CPR/AED from recognized provider.

Responsibilities

• Supervises facility; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Educates participants on proper techniques to maximize exercise safety and effectiveness.
• Coordinates and leads HealthFitness programs and promotions.
• Conducts fitness testing and assessments and advises participants of results; designs individualized programs.
• Researches health & fitness topics and materials; conducts health education seminars/presentations.
• Participates in membership drives to acquire new participants; enrolls new participants and conducts orientations.
• Promotes program offerings and conducts outreach activities to increase participation.
• Creates and maintains bulletin boards, newsletters and other marketing & communication materials.
• Coordinates internship program; oversees the recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of student interns.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.
