Job summary

NONPF is seeking a Locums Interventional Radiology Physician in Pikeville, KY, offering flexible scheduling and strong APP support to cover a broad IR mix.

The role emphasizes weekday daytime coverage with AP providers available, and includes travel logistics such as airfare, lodging, and car mileage. Board-certified IR and Diagnostic Radiology physicians with KY license and DEA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology.
• Active Kentucky medical license.
• DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult IR procedures with ~4–8 cases per physician per day.
• Angiography for GI bleeds, thrombectomy, lysis, and embolization.
• CT and ultrasound guided biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and drainages.
• Lumbar punctures, myelograms, vertebroplasty, SI joint injections, and discograms.
• Flexible schedule with weekday daytime coverage; weekend call off-site.
