Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex - unarmed in La Canada Flintridge, CA. Pay is $19.00/hour for a part-time shift. You’ll join a leading global security company and work a flexible schedule using our shift-pickup platform to gain varied site experience across industries.

Responsibilities include patrols, incident reporting, and assisting clients with professional service. Benefits and growth opportunities are available; background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed) and able to operate radio/console equipment.
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact cordially with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
