Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex — unarmed in Glendale, CA. You will perform security patrols, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents using our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on your availability.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required by the employer.
• Valid driver’s license may be required to operate company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Strong verbal and written communication, and ability to interact with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or summon police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rules and regulations.
• Monitor entrances and exits and authorize access.
• Observe and report on incidents; maintain post logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary according to site post orders.
