Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex Unarmed in Greenville, SC. The role supports multiple client sites with irregular but rollable shifts through our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, offering 30–40 hours weekly and varied assignments.

The position emphasizes adaptability, dependable performance, and ongoing training as a pathway to long-term advancement. Pay rate is $13.79 per hour, with a robust benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
