Job summary

Memorial Health System in Belpre, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support patient care within the nursing plan of care. This flex-time role requires compassion, confidentiality, and a commitment to high-quality service.

You will perform vitals, administer medications, document in the EMR, and collaborate with charge nurses, social services, and the provider team. A current Ohio (or WV) LPN license and BLS are required, with training provided for chemotherapy instruction.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Ohio (or WV) as an LPN.
• N.A.P.N.E.S./O.O.P.N.E. or State Board medication administration card required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of patient care within scope of practice.
• Complies with safety and infection control standards.
• Provides patient care as assigned by charge nurse or team leader.
• Performs glucometer checks and venipuncture after training.
• Obtains vital signs and documents in the EMR.
• Administers subcutaneous, intramuscular, and oral medications.
• Delivers chemotherapy instruction and obtains informed consent.
• Maintains a clean, confidential, and compliant clinical environment.
