Job summary

Kelly Education is hiring substitutes for the Cleveland School District in the United States. No prior experience is required, and substitutes act as mentors to help students grow. This is an opportunity to join a flexible, supportive team and impact student learning on a daily basis.

Pay rates are $100/day for Certified Teacher substitutes and $80/day for non-certified substitutes. Benefits include weekly pay, orientation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be at least 21 years old
• No previous experience required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
• Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
• Assist with duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies.
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation.
• For long-term assignments, develop lesson plans, build, administer, and grade tests and assignments.
