Job summary

New Haven Residential Treatment Center and Boarding School seeks a dedicated Substitute Teacher to support small classes at the Saratoga Springs and Spanish Fork campuses. You will deliver lessons, foster a positive classroom climate, and work with educators to ensure student success.

Requirements include Utah State Secondary Education Certification (6-12) with an English endorsement, knowledge of varied teaching methods, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Utah state certification for secondary education (6-12) and English endorsement.
• Ability to teach across subjects and support diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver lesson plans and activities as provided to foster engagement.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success.
• Monitor attendance and maintain classroom records as required.
