Kelly Education in the Greater New Haven area is hiring Building and Long Term substitutes. No prior experience is required, and this role offers a flexible entry into teaching while making a difference in students’ learning.

As a substitute, you’ll follow district lesson plans, support student engagement, and may design lesson plans for longer assignments. Work locations include Ansonia and Branford school districts with weekly pay and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ansonia school district: $119/day
• Branford school district: $150/day

Responsibilities

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
