Qualifications

• 3+ months experience working with students in a traditional classroom or analogous setting.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or higher – Florida Employees
• Be flexible to cover a variety of grades and subjects based on school needs which are subject to change at any time.
• Excellent classroom management skills and ability to keep students engaged and motivated.
• Excellent communication skills and patient demeanor.
• Lesson planning, attendance reporting, grading, light administrative duties, and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide substitute teaching across assigned grades and subjects as needed.
• Plan, monitor attendance, and contribute to grading where appropriate.
• Maintain classroom order and supervise students during activities and transitions.
• Support field trips, recess, lunch duties, and other school activities as required.
• Attend professional development or parent meetings when requested.
