York Suburban School District is accepting applicationsfor substitute Paraprofessionals and Personal Care Assistants. These substitute positions include Emotional, Intensive and Autism Support Para's and Personal Care Assistants, and Library Para's.

TITLE: Substitute Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and Paraprofessional

QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.

High School diploma required

Meet one of the paraprofessional competency training requirements below:

1. Two years of post- secondary education coursework (48 college credits)or

2. Highly Qualified Special Education Certificate through PDEor

3. Passing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE) Testor

4. Possess the ability to obtain highly qualified status through educational opportunities provided within the timeline of the district

Prior experience working with students with disabilities

Must have obtained (or will obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks(use code 1KG6XN)within the last twelve (12) months

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYEMNT: 2026-2027 SY hourly base rate is: $15.10

*Certain positions may be eligible for special education stipends, depending on the role
