Job summary

The University of Toledo is seeking an Intermittent Early Childhood Teacher (sub/float) to supervise groups of children and deliver high-quality early childhood education. The position offers a flexible, as-needed schedule with a variety of shifts and locations on campus.

Qualifications include at least 60 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience; a preferred Associate degree or CDA credential. Training in child safety and health is required within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have 60 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or equivalent childcare experience.
• Preferred: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA credential.
• Must obtain Infant & Child First Aid & CPR, Common Childhood Communicable Disease, and Recognition/Prevention of Child Abuse trainings within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a designated group of children ages six weeks to ten years.
• Deliver high-quality early childhood education and support growth and development.
• Work intermittently on a flexible, as-needed schedule based on program needs.
