Job summary

Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with extensive experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor prescription medications and illicit drugs to support clinical decision-making for millions of Americans.

The Specimen Collector role supports patients, clinicians and our laboratory by collecting urine and oral fluid specimens, processing and packaging them for shipping, and serving as the liaison between clinics and the lab.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute medical experience.
• Ability to navigate smartphone and computer reliably.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• HIPAA/HiTrust compliance awareness and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice and laboratory.
• Record patient info, orders, and lab data accurately.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient data.
• Maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
• Drive between multiple facilities as required.
