Job summary

Visiting Angels Webster Groves is seeking a Short Shift Caregiver to support clients across Wildwood, Webster Groves, Ellisville, Ballwin, Manchester and nearby areas. You will provide compassionate in-home care to seniors staying at home or recovering at home, with flexible shift options.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and errands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time-management skills are essential.
• Reliable transportation to client visits is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response is required.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with shopping and groceries as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients.
