Right at Home Peachtree City is seeking CNAs and PCAs to join our home care team, delivering in-home clinical support and compassionate assistance. You will help with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and mobility aids in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Experience with personal care tasks and activities of daily living.
• Preferred experience with Hoyer lifts and transfers.
• Knowledge of range of motion exercises and Foley care.
• Ability to provide companionship and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist patient with daily living tasks.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, and mobility as directed.
• Provides medication reminders and hospice supportive care as taught by a nurse.
• Performs light housekeeping and accompanies patient to appointments or errands.

Essential Functions:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

Personal Hygiene

Ambulation/Transfers

Dressing/Shaving

Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

Performs light housekeeping activities

Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):

Providing hospice supportive care

Medication reminders

Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises

Assisting with blood glucose monitoring

Care of bed-bound patients

Incontinence care

Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

Hoyer lift
