Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• Background check required by Allied Universal under applicable laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed)
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department in case of emergencies
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and incidents; maintain logs
• Aid customers, employees, visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders
