Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve diverse clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. You will use a shift-pickup platform to build a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience across multiple industries.

This role may require irregular shifts with little notice; strong communication, reliability, and teamwork are essential to maintain safety and protect client property. Full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws; prior criminal history considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience may be required for some postings.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed, depending on state).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Effective oral and written communication; able to write informatively and clearly.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills; assess situations quickly.
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy; strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or forbidden articles.
• Monitor entrances and exits; permit authorized persons to enter property.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal per client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
