Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Flex Variable Shift Patrol. You will patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle across multiple client sites, gaining hands-on experience while adapting to changing schedules.

Pay rate is $17.66 per hour. Requirements include at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, background check, drug screen, and a valid driver's license for driving posts.

Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and licensing requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and incidents; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
