Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol Deployment in Albuquerque, NM. The role offers 30–40 hours per week with a shifting schedule based on manager assignments and the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Be adaptable and dependable to support multiple client sites across industries.

Pay rate is $19.52 per hour. Must be available for varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel required distance for Branch Flex assignments.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
