Vetco, a Petco Veterinary Services program, seeks relief veterinarians to work across Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care hospitals. You control your schedule and rates, with no agency fees and an appointment-based model to keep patient flow smooth.

License to practice veterinary medicine in good standing is required, along with applicable state licenses and DEA for full-service hospital shifts. Benefits include a 15% Petco product/service discount and ongoing clinic updates.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing.
• State-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including blood draws and vaccines.
• DEA registration in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts.
• Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy.
• Compliance with all local state and federal mandates.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief veterinary services at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care hospitals.
• Operate within an appointment-based model with flexible scheduling and no minimum/maximum shift requirements.
• Set your own hourly rate for each shift and benefit from no agency fees.
• Coordinate with trained clinic staff to deliver high-quality pet care and up-to-date policy communications.
