Job summary

Vital Medical Staffing is seeking dependable LPNs to join our PRN team in Louisiana, offering flexible scheduling and weekly pay across hospitals, long-term care facilities, and clinics in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. As an LPN, you will administer medications, monitor patients, document care, and collaborate with healthcare teams while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

Requirements include an active LPN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent licensed nursing experience.
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain one).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• CPR/BLS must be instructor-led and completed in person (online-only certifications are not accepted).
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work PRN and maintain reliable communication with our staffing team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, CNAs, and facility staff.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and care plans.
