Job summary
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Home Care team in Brockton, MA. The role offers a full-time schedule with a pay of $37 per visit, flexible hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.
You will provide skilled nursing services in patients' homes, collaborating with care teams to promote health and independence. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience and an active Massachusetts LPN license,
Qualifications
- Active MA LPN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Afternoon and weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide wound care directly in patients' homes.
- Administer and manage prescribed medications.
- Provide catheter care as needed.
- Support diabetic patients with care and education.
- Monitor overall wellness and changes in condition.
- Educate patients on disease management.
- Follow up with patients after physician appointments.
- Identify and order necessary medical supplies.
- Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
