Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Materials Distribution Tech to support hospital inventory, Omnicell operations and supply distribution across patient care areas. You will pick, pack, restock Omnicells, manage code carts and ensure accurate inventory records while maintaining safe, efficient workflows.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely issue resolution, and collaboration with Biomedical and Nursing teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Minimum 1 Year hospital, warehouse or retail store experience.
• Commitment to learning and quality improvement processes.
• Good communication skills verbal and written, reading and math ability required.
• Able to respond to STAT request by moving quickly.

Responsibilities

• Pick, Pack and Restock Omnicells. Remove excess supplies, check bin and reconcile stock. Cycle count to verify par levels. Generate replenishment report if needed.
• Restocks Code Carts per Quality Pick List and organizes carts, replenishes items nearing expiration.
• Release and fill orders (Pick Tickets) for supplies in HEMM, Horizon Clinical and Omnicell; notify Inventory Controller of stock-outs.
• Ensure product is stocked in correct bin locations and maintain cleanliness and integrity of packages.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned and adhere to organizational competencies.
