Job summary

Right at Home Patchogue is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to support seniors in their own homes in the Patchogue area. You’ll provide essential daily living assistance, monitor health, and collaborate with nurses.

Training will be provided, and flexible schedules help balance work and life. Expect competitive pay, eligibility for medical benefits, 401(k), weekly pay, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months experience as an HHA or PCA in health care (in homes or facilities).
• Competency Evaluation completed per state licensing law for home health agencies.
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and ability to handle job demands.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, ambulation, meals, dressing, housekeeping).
• Provide or support personal care and patient comfort as directed by a nurse.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion and basic medical tasks as trained.
• Support with meals, mobility devices, and routine health monitoring.
